Cancellations & Amendments
Any booking deposit will be forfeit if you cancel your booking within 10 days of your arrival date, with the exception of Christmas bookings, Bank Holidays, Group Bookings and School Holidays (see terms below).
Any cancellations received within 48 hours of the scheduled date of arrival as printed on your booking confirmation will result in a charge equivalent to the cost of two nights' accommodation on bookings of 3 days or less, or 3 nights' accommodation for bookings of 4 days or more. This is for all rooms booked, in addition to the forfeited deposit, and will be charged to the supplied credit or debit card. Bookings of 10 nights or more will subject to a charge of 3 nights' accommodation for any cancellation made up to 10 days prior to arrival and 4 nights' accommodation if cancelled less than 48 hours prior to arrival.
To amend the dates of your booking, please call us directly using the telephone number contained within the booking confirmation. All amendments made within 48 hours of your arrival date may be charged the equivalent to the cost of one night's accommodation if the room cannot be re-let.
All bookings are considered to be a legal contract once we have received and confirmed a reservation, either in writing by letter or by email and have received your deposit payment or if otherwise agreed, full payment of the total price quoted. Please be aware that a 5% bank handling charge is applied to all credit card transactions for final balance payments.
Holiday Insurance is not compulsory but is strongly recommended to cover cancellation costs.
We reserve the right not to accept any bookings made online of 3 or more rooms at the same time or by the same person. Please contact the hotel directly at the time of booking. Any group bookings made for 3 or more rooms may be subject to a non-refundable deposit. This is at the discretion of the hotel. Cancellations of group bookings will be subject to a cancellation fee which will be outlined to the principal booker when the booking is made.
Check-in times are between 1400 hrs & 17.00hrs.
Check-in times outside of those specified must be agreed with us prior to arrival. Late arrival without prior agreement may result in your booking being cancelled and refused entry to the hotel with no refund. A surcharge of £25 (payable on arrival) may be charged for agreed late arrival, at the discretion of the hotel.
The Check-out time is by 10.30hrs. Late check out can be arranged with the hotel for a surcharge.
Please note that we do not accept children within our Premier rooms
Booking deposits must be paid for using an acceptable and valid credit or debit card.
Rates are per room per night inclusive of breakfast, for the number of people agreed on the confirmation. Rates do not include other costs you may choose to incur during your stay (unless otherwise stated).
Should You change the number of guests, dates or room nights, then the rates are subject to change.
Lost room keys will be charged at £35.
We are able to book discounted ferry crossings on your behalf. Please contact the hotel to request prices by email, telephone or in writing indicating preferred route and travel times. All ferry costs are variable and are subject to the ferry company terms and conditions, and are non-refundable
In the rare case that due to unforeseen circumstances we cannot deliver your requested rooms, you will be offered alternative accommodation of a similar standard.
Bank Holidays other than August Bank Holiday and School Holiday Period Cancellation
All bookings made for a stay over a bank holiday period or during a school holiday are subject to a cancellation policy whereby cancellation within 2 weeks of the first day of your stay will result in 50% of your total booking cost being charged. Bookings cancelled less then 7 days prior to the first day of your stay will be subject to 100% of the booking cost being charged.
We operate a strict non-smoking policy. As a condition of booking, smoking within any room will result in a charge of £100 will be levied to the credit or debit card used in the initial booking. These terms will be deemed to have been accepted upon completion of all bookings.
We are happy to accept dogs under the supervision and guarantee of their owners, although not within our Premier bedrooms. A small additional charge of £5 per booking may be charged for the extra cleaning as a result of having a dog in your room.
If using a discount code, you must be a member of the group that the code was created for. If you are using a code but are not a member of the intended group then we reserve the right to retract the discount.
Right of Refusal
The Eversley reserves the right not to admit any person deemed to be confrontational or abusive to any member of staff or other guest.
August Bank Holiday
2020 bookings commencing on the 28/08, 29/08, 30/08 and 31/08 are subject to additional booking conditions. This is due to the availability of car ferries. We have had occasions when rooms are available but there is no way for guests to get here by car.
Rooms may be cancelled 30 days prior to day of arrival and deposits are fully refundable.
29 days prior to arrival 2/3 of the total accommodation cost will be non-refundable
29 days prior to arrival we will increase deposit taken to 2/3 of the total accommodation cost.
If we are unable to take monies to increase your deposit to 2/3 of the total cost, we will refund your deposit and cancel your booking. If a ferry was booked we will cancel it and take any costs from your deposit.
Any ferries booked by us will be non-refundable 28 prior to arrival, before 28 days there will be a Â£5 charge to cancel a ferry booked by us.
